ESSENTIAL:?A full valid drivers license from the Republic of Ireland
or the UK
THE SOCIAL CARE PROJECT WORKER WILL:
* provide a Key-Worker role to traumatized children residing within
the residential unit to ensure positive outcomes.
* work effectively as part of a social care staff team and
demonstrate a commitment to ongoing personal and professional
development.
* ensure that social care interventions are delivered appropriately
to children in accordance with guidance set by Social Care Manager.
* abide by health & safety requirements consistently.
* work on a rota basis including overnights and weekend cover.
* Adhere to and complete administrative responsibilities in a timely
manner.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE OF THE QUALIFICATIONS LISTED BELOW, YOU WILL
NOT BE SHORT-LISTED.
* Ordinary Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Applied Social Care
Studies (Minimum Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
* National Diploma in Applied Social Care Studies awarded by
HETAC/IT (Minimum Level 7)
* Ordinary Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Social Care awarded by a
recognized body (Minimum Level 7 on the National Framework of
Qualification)
* Diploma in Social Care awarded by HETAC/IT (Minimum Level 7)
* Diploma in Applied Social Studies/Social Care from IT (Minimum
Level 7)
* Ordinary Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Social Care Practice
(Minimum Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
* National Diploma in Applied Social Studies (Disabilities), The
Open Training College (HETAC Accredited, Minimum Level 7)
* Other Qualifications - Degree in Psychology, Child and Adolescent
Psychotherapy, Youth and Community Work (Level 7), Social Work, Social
Sciences, Teaching & Nursing, Early Childhood Studies.
ABOUT BRIGHTER FUTURES FOR CHILDREN:
Brighter Futures for Children Ltd (BFFC) aims to help children
overcome developmental trauma resulting from adverse childhood
experiences such as neglect and child abuse. BFFC specializes in
providing a therapeutic environment where children enjoy positive
nurturing relationships with supportive adults. All staff undertake
therapeutic training and continuous personal development during their
employment with BFFC. Additionally, BFFC will commission and provide
evidence-informed therapeutic intervention that have demonstrated
effectiveness in assisting traumatized children to heal.
HOURS OF WORK:
7 x **Apply on the website** hour shifts a month (Some flexibility
around swapping shifts with other workers may be possible)
Staff are required to attend Team Meetings and Group Supervision every
other Tuesday from 9am to 5pm.
